Original Eames Lounge Chair with Ottoman – Vitra I am offering an original Eames Lounge Chair including Ottoman from Vitra. The chair comes from family ownership and was acquired already in the 1980s. We have known it in our uncle's household for much longer, however. So at purchase there is a charming little family story included for free. ;) Due to its origin, the version and the construction details, this is very likely an early vintage model. The chair is in good, well-kept vintage condition with age-related signs of wear. The original leather shows a beautiful, authentic patina. The wooden shells show a warm, reddish-brown veneer with characteristic grain. The chair is missing a button. Also there are two very small veneer chips. Both are visible in the detail photos. The construction details, materials and execution correspond to the typical construction of Eames Lounge Chairs from Vitra. A timeless design classic by Charles & Ray Eames, which has been part of our family for decades. Dimensions approx.: Back height: 80 cm Width including armrests: 82 cm Seat width: 60 cm Seat depth: 55 cm Seat height: 42–43 cm Ottoman: Width: 62 cm Depth: 55 cm Seat height: 42–43 cm Shipping: Due to its size and value, the Lounge Chair is not suitable for parcel shipping. Safe, insured shipping by furniture carrier is possible after prior arrangement and depends on the specific destination. Personal pickup is also possible.
