In quarto format, 2 volumes contents in a rigid leather portfolio. The first volume, in full leather and vinyl with dry-stamped decorations, in anastatic printing 105 pages printed on parchment Gothic typography, engravings painted in gouache and gold. Fidelity faithfully reproduced the original copy. The second book pp.XXV-161 in full cloth is the codicological description by Dagmar Thoss. Facsimile edition of the oldest surviving hunting work among those written in French, which became very popular in the Middle Ages, because although the original manuscript has disappeared, thirty-two different copies survive. No. 10.218 of the Royal Library of Brussels served as the basis for this edition, which contains some magnificent miniatures, of exceptional beauty, that give a very precise idea of how hunting was done 600 years ago. The book, attributed to the Norman nobleman Henry de Ferrières, was created for Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy, and its miniatures are by Girart de Roussillon and his workshop. And printed in double column, in color, with numerous initials and punctuation marks in bright gold on a blue and red background, and its numerous and splendid color miniatures, framed in gold leaf, stand out for showing us hunting scenes with dogs and birds, illustrating certain ways of hunting. Spanish edition of the Codices Notabiles series is composed of 340 numbered copies (no. 35).
