Georg Jensen – Henning Koppel – Complete set of 4 weather stations (clock, barometer, thermometer & hygrometer) – Denmark – Modern Scandinavian design This complete set of four vintage weather stations from the iconic Henning Koppel collection for Georg Jensen is a beautiful example of timeless Danish design. The set consists of a clock, barometer, thermometer and hygrometer, executed in the distinctive minimalist styling for which Henning Koppel is internationally acclaimed. Henning Koppel (1918–1981) is regarded as one of the most important Danish designers of the twentieth century. His designs for Georg Jensen are characterized by a perfect balance between functionality, simplicity and sculptural elegance. These weather stations form a modern design classic that effortlessly fits within both a Scandinavian and a contemporary interior. The four instruments feature an elegant black dial with white typography and a matte white steel housing. Together they form a harmonious whole that is both decorative and functional. Condition The set is in a very nice, well-preserved vintage condition with only light, age-related signs of use and minimal patina, appropriate for its age.
