Hennessy for Tuiga Centenary – Extremely Rare Limited Edition Cognac (2008) [Expert's remark; the origin of the bottle has been verified by me - ES] This is an exceptionally rare and highly collectible bottle of Hennessy for Tuiga Centenary, released in 2008 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Tuiga, the legendary flagship yacht of the Yacht Club de Monaco. For this centenary celebration, Hennessy created a unique assemblage of exceptional eaux-de-vie, selected from its historic cellars. These eaux-de-vie date back to around 1908, meaning they were already over one hundred years old at the time of bottling, specifically chosen to echo the year of Tuiga’s launch. This cognac was never commercially released. It was produced in an extremely limited number of bottles (estimated around ten units) and offered exclusively to selected members of the Yacht Club de Monaco, making it one of the rarest private Hennessy editions ever produced. To the best of the seller’s knowledge, this is one of the very few examples remaining in private hands and currently the only known bottle available on the open market. The blend was personally selected by Yann Fillioux, Maître de Chai of Hennessy, and bottled at 40% vol. The bottle is presented in its original solid oak presentation case, engraved with: • “Hennessy for Tuiga Centenary” • “Yacht Club de Monaco” Both bottle and case are original, complete, and very well preserved.
