Lordship of FRAMPAS (52). “To all to whom these present letters may come, Nicolas LE MARNAT, Squire and Counselor to the King, our Lord, and Special Lieutenant in the Bailiwick of Saint-Dizier.” Nicolas de SALIGNY (or SALLIGNY), Lord of FRAMPAS, who pledged fealty, paid homage, and took an oath of loyalty, affirming that he holds the Lordship of FRAMPAS as a full fief, by virtue of his castle and castellany of Saint-Dizier, on April 23, 1597. 4-page parchment folio (28 x 20 cm)
