Gothic alcove at left with female figure reminiscent of Columbia within opposite a smaller subsidiary vignette of a cherub representative of industry seen between a pair of ornamental counters. A total of (4) rounded POCs may be seen above the signature panels and manufacturer's imprints. This institution ultimately became the Farmers and Mechanics National Bank of Hartford (Charter# 1321) in 1865.
