Beautiful pair of 835 silver cufflinks by the influential German designer and Bauhaus silversmith Hans Przyrembel (1900-1945) who had a workshop in Leipzig from 1929. He worked closely with Marianne Brandt. Although many associate Bauhaus solely with tight minimalist geometry, Przyrembel used organic, floral, and Art Deco-inspired engravings. Fitted with silver hallmark “835” and master mark HP. Length of the cufflink is 2.0 cm. Weight is 8.62 g. After decades of careful collecting I have decided to part with (part of) my collection. I wish these special objects a place with a new admirer who understands the value of historic preservation. It is time these pieces receive the attention they deserve, so they remain preserved for the distant future as well. I ensure an extremely careful packaging and insured shipping. Photos are part of the description.
