All auctions / Lighting / Hanging lamp - Exclusive prism cascade lamp
Elegant hanging lamp inspired by Bakalowits & Söhne, with a refined gilded brass structure and a spectacular cascade of faceted crystal prisms arranged in several levels. Its geometric design and the quality of the materials evoke the sophisticated Viennese style of the 1960s and 1970s, making it a striking decorative piece. The top features a characteristic composition of tubes and crystal rods arranged in multiple levels, topped with gilded metal elements. From the structure hangs an impressive cascade of fine transparent crystal rods, rings and facets, creating a sense of great depth and movement. The abundance of crystal elements produces a magnificent refraction of light, especially when the lamp is on, generating sparkles and reflections around the entire piece. Its geometric design, the combination of crystal and gilded metal, and the spectacular stepped composition evoke mid-20th-century Central European lighting and the Hollywood Regency aesthetic. Its style fits perfectly with Mid-Century Modern interiors, Hollywood Regency, contemporary Art Déco, or high-end vintage design. Ideal to preside over a living room, dining room, foyer, or bedroom, where it will act as a true focal point. Characteristics: Style: Bakalowits & Söhne (inspiration) Materials: gilded brass, cut crystal, metal. Tiered multi-level design Era: second half of the 20th century Condition: very good state of preservation, with slight signs of use consistent with its age, some oxidation spots, some wear... It is a lamp of great elegance and presence, highly sought after by collectors and lovers of Viennese design and high-quality vintage lighting. IMPORTANTE... || All of our lamps are antique or vintage pieces, so they may have patina, slight nicks or small signs of use typical of their age. We recommend carefully reviewing all the photographs, as they are part of the description and are the best reference of the condition. In lamps with crystal prisms or teardrops, due to their age, some piece may be missing or there may have been substitutions made over the years. This is part of the history and authenticity of this type of object. Therefore, it is important to review the photographs in case any piece is missing or has been replaced. To guarantee safe transport, some lamps may be shipped partially disassembled. If you need additional information or help, do not hesitate to contact us. ||
