Hamelink - Black Shark

This original work by Bart Hamelink, titled Black Shark, presents a powerful black shark reduced to its most essential shapes. The enormous dark silhouette dominates the canvas, while a single small eye gives the animal an unexpected sense of character. The contrast between the deep black figure and the warm, off-white background creates a strong and almost monumental image. The deliberately simple forms and imperfect painted surface give the work its raw, handmade character. Black Shark is painted in acrylic on canvas and is a unique original artwork. It is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Please note: The interior photographs are visual impressions only. Due to its size, the artwork will be carefully rolled and securely packed in a strong square shipping tube. The artwork is delivered without the frame shown and without a stretcher frame.
