Pike, Peckham, a Regency mahogany longcase clock the eight-day duration, five-pillar movement having an anchor escapement and striking the hours on a bell, with brass-bound weights, the twelve-inch round painted dial having black Roman numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, blued-steel heart hands and signed H.C. Pike, High St., Peckham, the arched-top case having canted corners, fluted canted corners to the hood, ebonised inlaid stringing, raised mouldings to the base and standing on a double-plinth with bracket feet, height 198cm.
