Gustave Mascart Roberti (1834-1916) - Zicht op Dordrecht

Gustave Mascart (8 March 1834 – 1914) was a French painter who is known, among other things, for his use of the pseudonym Roberti. His work focused strongly on river and harbor views, cityscapes, mills, canals and the daily life of the working class (such as sailors on the Seine). He also captured landscapes in the Netherlands ("in Holland") and around Dordrecht.
