Judith Leiber (American, founded 1963). Group of three women's clutches / evening bags comprising one crystal Minaudiere clutch with Swarovski crystal exterior, gold tone trim, gold tone chain strap attached to interior that can be tucked inside, push lock, and gold leather interior lining; one plum red/purple lizard skin clutch with two metal clasps at top, satin interior lining, two interior lining pockets, and gold tone chain strap that back be tucked inside; and one purple lizard leather clutch with bejeweled butterfly kiss lock to top center, three spacious interior compartments, two interior lining pockets, woven purple strap with tassels that can be tucked inside, and accompanied by small gold toned comb with tassel charm. All appropriately marked. Accompanied by Saks Fifth Avenue dust bag. Approximate dimensions: Largest: 7 x 10 1/4 x 1/2 in. (17.8 x 26 x 1.3 cm.) Provenance: From the Gaston Collection, acquired through generational transfer from the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays (1881-1951), wife of Senator James E. Hays; the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays Gaston and Dr. Joseph H. Gaston III; and the Estate of Dr. J. Harper Gaston and Dr. Anne Elizabeth Hendrick Gaston. The multi-generational collection was housed at two notable Georgia homes�Twin Oaks (a National Register Greek Revival estate in Greenville, Georgia and Rhodes Hall (the �castle on Peachtree Street� that functioned a Georgia State Archives from 1930-1965)
