One forms a trefoil pendant of clustered spheres, the other an ovoid drop with a pierced suspension loop - both likely used as decorative fittings or amulets, their compact forms reflecting the functional yet ornamented aesthetic of the 13th to 15th centuries. By contrast, the silver plaque with twin putti engaged in playful relief belongs to the Rococo Revival of the late 19th to early 20th century. Nearly pure silver, it evokes the lighthearted sensuality of Baroque ornament adapted for charms or pendants fashionable in continental Europe.
