Made after the original 18th-century English plates in the collection of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Virginia, decorated with birds and foliage, to include (8) dinner plates (10 in.) and (8) salad plates (8 1/8 in.), marks vary, all with mark of Mottahedeh and Williamsburg, some additionally marked "Porcel / Portugal" or with mark of Vista Alegre, Portugal. From the Estate of the Late Susan H. Ehringhaus, Chapel Hill, North Carolina Occasional light cutlery scratch; one dinner plate with rubbing to paint at rim; one salad plate with chip to rim.
