Green sugar-coated fluorite on quartz

From the collection of rare and important minerals: sugar-sugared, step-cut crystals of green fluorite on a milky quartz matrix. A distinctive crystallization composed of many small fluorite cubes. Fantastic color contrast between the green and the white of quartz. Rare and high aesthetic value. Fluorite is known for its fluorescence when exposed to UV rays, from which its name derives. In addition, high-purity fluorite crystals are used in precision optical systems for their low chromatic dispersion and high transmission in the ultraviolet and infrared regions. This is an ideal specimen for mineralogical collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the field of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, in line with the properties traditionally associated with the mineralogical species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with rare exceptions always indicated in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight variations in shade may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
