GREAT BRITAIN. 6 Pence, 1879. London Mint. Victoria. NGC PROOF-64. S-3911; KM-751.2. Edge: Milled. An unusual and VERY RARE Proof striking, the only occupant of the certified census as such and the only example we can find in our searches of auction records over the past 25 years. An interesting array of die polish lines appears over the surfaces, lending a shimmering effect, and the devices exhibit light frost that rises in contrast to the watery fields. Estimate: $4,000 - $6,000. Click here for certification details from NGC.

Estimate:$2,400
