Great Britain 1840 One Penny Black Plate 1a GA, full sheet margin

Great Britain 1840 One Penny Black Plate 1a GA, full sheet margin at left with part inscription "Back be careful not" and good margins elsewhere, affixed upside-down and tied by well struck Maltese Cross in red to 1840 (13 May) large part entire letter to Dublin; the reverse, which folds out well for display, is struck with 13.05 and 14.05 d.s. A remarkable usage, contrary to regulations, at a very early date; some weakness along folds of letter, discreetly reinforced, and a most attractive item. B.P.A.
