Original vintage exhibition poster for Tauromàquia: Goya – Picasso, presented at the Palau de la Virreina in Barcelona in 1987. The exhibition explored the representation of bullfighting in the work of two of the most important figures in Spanish art: Francisco de Goya and Pablo Picasso. The accompanying exhibition catalogue, published by the Ajuntament de Barcelona, documented works by both artists, including 33 works by Goya and 26 by Picasso. This original period poster is an attractive example of 1980s Spanish museum and exhibition graphic design, combining an important artistic subject with one of Barcelona's historic exhibition venues.
