Gordon Highlanders, Non Commissioned Officer’s Pipers Plaid Brooch, and Sporran or Pouch Badge. A good nickel plated 2nd Battalion four part example, originally worn before the regimental tartan, with a Sphinx upon a plinth bearing above the battle honour ‘Egypt’, and below a Tiger upon a plinth bearing the battle honour ‘India’, upon a saltire with a thistle wreath and regimental title belt ‘Gordon Highlanders’, the reverse with four screw fixings, nuts and washers for the central device, a heavy duty pin, hinge and hook fixing, very good service used condition; with a gilt metal Gordon Highlanders gilt metal example Sporran or Pouch Badge, the front in good condition, with a number of minor repairs carried out on the reverse to reinforce the screw posts, one now absent, numbered to the reverse ‘51’, generally good service worn condition (2) £80-£100.
