Gold Mauritania Nuggets 1.595 grams- 1.6 g - (4)

Discovery Zone 23°33’ North 08°06’ West These nuggets come from the desert region of Tiris Zemmour in the north of Mauritania, more than a hundred kilometers from an area named Guelb Ndour. Gold mining in this country was previously reserved for a large industrial company only. But since 2016 individual exploitation is allowed using metal detectors. I offer them as I discovered them; I have only cleaned them with soapy water. The gold from this region is fairly pure; in general its purity is about 950 to 980 per thousand, which corresponds to 22.80 to 23.50 carats. Although gold mining has become one of Mauritania’s main resources, the nuggets are fairly rare because almost all the gold is melted into ingots which are then sent to Dubai. All photos were taken in natural daylight. I photographed these nuggets as honestly and accurately as possible using daylight. Please note that differences in screen settings and ambient lighting can lead to variations in color, saturation, and perceived tones. The nuggets you will receive are, of course, the ones shown in the photos. I ship quickly, securely, and discreetly in a non-bendable C5 envelope (162mm x 229mm) by La Poste French registered mail.
