Gold Mauritania Nuggets 1.017 grams- 1.02 g - (2)

Discovery zone 23°33’ North 08°06’ West These nuggets come from the desert region of Tiris Zemmour in northern Mauritania, more than a hundred kilometers from an area named Guelb Ndour. Gold mining in this country had been reserved for a large industrial company. But since 2016 individual exploitation is permitted using metal detectors. I offer them as I found them; I have only cleaned them with soapy water. The gold from this region is fairly pure, generally its purity is around 950 to 980 fineness, which corresponds to 22.80 to 23.50 carats. Although gold mining has become one of Mauritania’s principal resources, the nuggets are quite rare because almost all the gold is melted into ingots that are then sent to Dubai. All photos are taken in natural daylight. I photographed these nuggets as honestly and precisely as possible using daylight. Please note that differences in screen settings and ambient lighting can cause variations in color, saturation, and perceived tones. The nuggets you will receive are, of course, those shown in the photos. I ship quickly, securely, and discreetly in a non-shattering envelope, format C5 (162mm x 229mm), by La Poste French registered mail.
