GOLD EMBROIDERY. “Ruling of the Court of Coins, which, reiterating the provisions of the Edicts, Declarations, and Rulings, prohibits the widow DIMANCHE and a man named BUISSEUR and his wife—both embroidery workers—from working with gold and silver in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine: Confiscates the works seized from them; forbids them from repeating the offense; orders them to withdraw to the city, and fines each of them ten livres.” March 13, 1752.
