Vintage globe on a wooden stand with Atlas figures. Produced in the late 1970s/early 1980s by the renowned American cartographic firm George F. Cram Co. The globe has a diameter of 12 inches (just over 30 cm). The wooden bookstand measures 36.5 x 27 x 6 cm and accommodates an atlas up to 4 cm thick. The globe is supported by two cast iron Atlas figures. The meridian ring is also made of cast iron. The item is in good condition, with regular signs of use/wear appropriate to its age.
