Glenrothes 2007 15 years old Old Particular - Single...

This 15-year-old Glenrothes matured in a Refill Hogshead and was bottled by independent bottler Douglas Laing. DOUGLAS LAING's Old Particular consists of a range of hand-picked single cask malts from all over Scotland. This means that each bottle comes from only a single barrel without being mixed with others. In addition, the experts at DOUGLAS LAING bottle the whisky uncoloured and not cold-filtered – in line with the company's philosophy. As a result, the natural oils, fats and enzymes contained in the whisky remain and make their own special contribution to the personal touch of the malt. Aroma: Large, rich and full of warm clove oranges with malty character Taste: Overwhelmingly spicy and gently peppered in the mouth, with walnut and tobacco Finish: Tobacco still in the foreground, with a late side of caramel and mixed spices [This lot is offered multiple times by the seller, therefore the bottle(s) that you receive may be different from the one(s) displayed in the picture, but the condition will be identical.]
