All auctions / Watches & Clocks / Glashütte - Bauhausdesign - No reserve price - Men - 1980-1989

Glashütte manual-wind movement 09-20 produced between approximately 1980 and 1989 in the former East Germany. Case: metal (I assume brass) chrome-plated, tiny scratches and nicks, not polished, diameter about 35 mm, height 8 mm, steel case back with number 41 and a Wodmungsgravur engraving stamped (watches with the number 41 were, to my knowledge, intended for export). Dial: silvery, in the so-called Bauhaus design, baton indices, hands black, at 3 o’clock slightly speckled see pictures. Movement: manual-wind caliber 09-20 with 17 jewels, the movement was produced in the millions and was still installed in Glashütte watches (beside ETA movements) up to 1994 due to lack of own mechanical movements. Bracelet: fine steel bracelet, very comfortable to wear, with a clasp. The watch is in good, functional condition. Attention: the watch is sold under the differential taxation (only of interest to dealers).
