Beautiful bottle vase, Serica 1954, designed by the famous Dutch glass artist Floris Meydam (1919-2011). He worked for 50 years at Leerdam glass factories. Meydam was a Dutch industrial designer who mainly designed glassware and ceramics and played a significant role in the development of Dutch glass art. The vase is in excellent condition, has a stain on the bottom (in the shape of an M). The petrol color is stunning. A mid-century statement and collector's item. 34 cm high x 10 cm diameter.
