Glamorous Midcentury Ring with Diamonds in Two-Tone Gold, German, c. 1950s

A trilogy of three radiant diamonds weighing a total of around 0.48 ct is set in the center of this ring. White gold prong settings hold them in a row. Two overlapping white gold swings with 26 smaller diamonds frame the large center stones. The ring band, which is divided into fine gold bars at the shoulders, is made of yellow gold, giving the ring the two-tone look so typical of the Midcentury. The ring has a powerful and sculptural design and is pleasantly heavy to wear. With its emphasis on volume, the transverse arrangement of the stones and the joy of light, it is a typical piece of jewellery from the 1950s. This date of origin is also revealed by the already modern full-cut diamonds. This high-quality ring from the years of the economic miracle came to us from North Rhine-Westphalia. It is in excellent condition and set with diamonds of very good quality.
