Who doesn't know them - the iconic short hairstyles of Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren or Liz Taylor? They are symbols of the 1950s style, which evolved from the functional hairstyles of the war era, but now placed particular emphasis on elaborate waves and artistic styling. While earrings hardly played a role in the 1940s, they made a brilliant comeback in the post-war period - in every conceivable shape and material, as clips, studs or pendants. This elegant pair of earrings also dates back to the era of the economic miracle, glamorous film icons and rock 'n' roll.
