Important historical volume dedicated to Italian hospitals, their history, architecture and organization. A large-format work, richly illustrated, with 1000 illustrations in black and in color, as indicated on the title page. The volume includes numerous photographs, reproductions, documents and color plates relating to Italian hospitals and health institutions. Original 1942 copy. Conditions: the volume shows evident signs of age. Cover with stains, yellowing and wear; spine with wear more pronounced at the upper part. The pages show yellowing, stains and foxing compatible with age. The interior illustrated and well legible. The photographs constitute an integral part of the description and detail the conservation state of the copy. One thing I would change compared with the previous description: I would not write “complete” until we have verified that all 727 pages + the expected plates are present. On Catawiki it is better not to declare it without having checked.
