Discourse presented to the Academy of Sciences, Belles-Lettres and Arts of Rouen by Albert Giraud, physician-director of the Saint-Yon asylum, received December 10, 1896. The text also appears in the Academy’s Precis for 1895-1896. Study devoted to the repression of witchcraft in Normandy, notably the positions of the Parliament and the documents of 1670. An interesting intersection of judicial history, beliefs, and a medical view of superstition.
