Introducing an exclusive antique Ghom rug, an exceptional piece for its artistic design and its extraordinary level of detail. Made in India between 1950-1960, this rug reflects the inspiration of the ancient Persian Ghom workshops, with a highly decorative composition and a unique drawing full of scenes, characters, animals and traditional vegetation. Manufactured 100% by hand in wool on cotton, it stands out for its high level of craftsmanship and its elegant combination of deep and warm colors. The central design represents a spectacular tree of life surrounded by figures, animals and an exceptional decoration inspired by ancient Oriental manuscripts. The rug incorporates an exclusive decorative border with Arabic letters inspired by traditional Qur'anic script, adding further character and authenticity to the piece. The rug has a density of approximately 7 × 7 knots per square centimeter, equivalent to about 490,000 knots per square meter, which demonstrates the fine artisanal work and the high technical level of the piece. It is in very good condition for its age. It shows no breaks or significant imperfections.
