German School (XX), signed "M. Meess" - Landscape, Garmisch

An original winter landscape painting by the German artist Maria Meess, signed and dated "M. Meess. Garmisch 1944" in the lower right corner. The oil on canvas artwork depicts a snowy Alpine mountain scenery, featuring two prominent snow-covered fir trees in the foreground casting long shadows across the snow, with the mountain peaks rising in the background.
