German Empire - Complete set of Zeppelin vignettes for...

Very rare vignette series from the publisher C. Weiler Stuttgart, for the first endurance flight of the Zeppelin airship in 1908, in which the airship, after completing the voyage, went up in flames and was destroyed during a thunderstorm. The vignettes are partly separated and then bound together with a fold. As a complete set, almost never obtainable. The series was issued shortly after the disaster to raise money for a new airship for Graf Zeppelin.
