Splendid sacred art painting from the second half of the 20th century (likely the 1970s), depicting an intense and intimate profile of a Madonna with Child. The work stands out for its refined mult-material relief technique: the profiles of the faces, the Virgin's veil, and the large circular halo surrounding the figures are modeled in thick relief, giving the painting a beautiful three-dimensionality and dynamism under light. The color palette is dominated by a precious finish in gold leaf or metallic gold varnish, masterfully antiqued with patinas and shades in brown, green, and ochre that enhance the faces and the textured details. The piece bears the autograph signature "Gama" in silver italic, clearly legible in the lower left corner. The painting is in excellent overall condition, with the pictorial and material surface perfectly intact. It is housed within a prestigious period golden frame, completed by an elegant light fabric mat that highlights the faces. A perfect vintage sacred art object, ideal as a headboard accent or decorative complement for collectors of modern memorabilia.
