Gaby Acevedo - Lucis fragmenta - Irilux (XL)

“Irilux” is a unique and original work that forms part of “Lucis Fragmenta,” a series dedicated to light that disperses and transforms when fragmented. The composition creates a visual rhythm in which each plane acts as a point of refraction, opening space and generating a dynamic spectrum. The work remains open to the viewer’s interpretation, who can find in it different modes of expansion and luminous movement. Details of the work: • “Lucis fragmenta- Irilux” is a contemporary abstract work, unique and original, entirely handmade with professional acrylic on cotton canvas. • Dimensions of the work: 120 cm × 40 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The canvas measures approximately 130 cm × 50 cm, including the margin necessary for its new mounting on a 120 cm × 40 cm × 2 cm (approximately) frame. • Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and guarantees its conservation over time. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by the visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Presentation: • The work has been created on a canvas previously stretched on a frame. To ensure safe transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas preserves the margin necessary for its new mounting on a frame. • The work does not include a frame or decorative surround. • For an optimal finish, it is recommended that mounting be carried out by a professional. Shipping: • The work is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. • Insured shipping with tracking number. • Includes certificate of authenticity. • Shipments to the Canary Islands (Spain): €48. • Additional information: The colors and hues may vary slightly depending on each screen’s configuration. Environment images are digital representations for illustrative purposes and show a possible presentation of the work once mounted or framed. About the artist: My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have been developing an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with the landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a different investigation, but all share the goal of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation. Each work is unique and entirely handmade in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity."
