Gaby Acevedo - Deyux - Lucis fragmenta (XL)

“Deyux” is an abstract artwork that is part of my series “Lucis Fragmenta,” in which I explore the relationship between light, form, and color. Through different shapes and chromatic contrasts, I seek to show how color transforms forms and creates movement and balance in the composition. A work open to personal interpretation, where each viewer can discover their own visual experience. Details of the work: • "Deyux - Lucis fragmenta" is a contemporary, unique, and original abstract piece, entirely handmade with professional acrylic on cotton canvas. • Dimensions of the work: 120 cm × 40 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The canvas measures approximately 130 cm × 50 cm, including the margin necessary for its mounting on a 120 cm × 40 cm × 2 cm frame (approximately). • Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and ensures its preservation over time. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by the visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Presentation: • The work has been created on a canvas previously stretched on a frame. To ensure safe transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas retains the margin necessary for its mounting on a frame. • The work does not include a frame or decorative border. • For an optimal finish, it is recommended that the mounting be carried out by a professional. Shipping: • The work is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. • Insured shipping with tracking number. • Includes certificate of authenticity. • Shipments to the Canary Islands (Spain): 48 €. • Additional information: Colors and shades may vary slightly depending on each screen’s settings. Ambient images are digital representations for illustrative purposes and show a possible presentation of the work once mounted or framed. About the artist: My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my work in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a distinct investigation, but all share the purpose of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation. Each work is unique and made entirely by hand in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
