Elegant female bust in biscuit porcelain (unglazed porcelain with a marble-like finish), depicting a young woman with a textured veil and an upward gaze. The sculpture rests on its original wooden base and stands 35 cm tall overall. The bust bears the artist's incised signature on the back and the original paper label "Sculture in Bisquit – Numerate e Firmate – Made in Italy". Gianni Visentin (Veneto, 1938–2010) initially trained as a painter before turning to sculpture. His biscuit porcelain works were produced in limited, numbered and signed editions, in collaboration with the Richelieu Manufactures. A strikingly present piece, ideal for collectors of 20th-century Italian sculpture and Richelieu biscuit porcelain. Condition: Excellent condition. The porcelain is in perfect state, with no damage or restoration. Original label present.
