G. Sommer - Rigi Klosterli - Svizzera - Coppia di fotografie antiche dell’800
Canton Svitto - Switzerland - A pair of splendid and refined original photographic images, printed on albumen paper, sepia-toned, mounted on antique front-and-back cardboard, produced around 1880 by the renowned German-Napoletan photographer Giorgio Sommer, one of the leading precursors of photographic art in Italy. The photographs of rare beauty depict two splendid views of evocative corners of the Swiss valley in the Canton of Svitto: Rigi Klosterli Rigibahn The photos are in good condition with minimal signs of wear and slight marks of time, consistent with objects that have traveled nearly 150 years of history. The photos will be carefully packed and shipped by courier.
