The asymmetry of the composition, the meticulous handling of the vegetation, as well as the presence of the livestock and the figures active by the water, attest to a fine academic technical mastery. • Signatures and Inscriptions: The work has no visible signature on the front. The back of the wooden panel bears several old logistics marks handwritten (collection or auction inventory marks), including the measurement annotations "35,5" and "30,5" which exactly correspond to the dimensions of the raw wood, as well as a handwritten reference "col 108" and a number 100. • Condition: The work is in good overall condition for its age. The pictorial layer shows a network of fine craquelure that is natural and healthy, attesting to its antiquity. The original wooden panel is healthy and stable. The painting is presented in a richly decorated old frame, wooden, stuccoes and gilded with scrolls and shells (the frame shows light signs of normal use related to time).
