French Rococo style claret jug featuring a blown crystal body with molded vertical fluting and foliate silver mounts. The metalwork includes a hinged lid with a floral thumbpiece, a double-scroll handle with acanthus leaf relief, and an ornate neck mount with draped floral swags. The flared, stepped foot is decorated with repousse shell motifs and scrolled borders. No makers marks are apparent. Thermo Scientific Niton XL2 XRF Precious Metal Analyzer Tested.
