French Brass Striking and Repeating Carriage Clock

A good quality and sized striking and hour repeating carriage clock, dating to the end of the 19th Century. It has a cornich case, with a shaped top handle and a bevel edge oval platform window. The enamel dial has Breguet style moon hands and Roman numerals. The 8 day lever platform movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and repeats the hours at will by depressing the top repeater button.
