Artist information: Originating from the Southern Finistère, Frédéric Cadiou draws inspiration from Breton landscapes, deeply rooted in light and the horizon. His works capture suspended moments where nature dialogue with human perception. Projected shadows, elongated lines, minimalist compositions: each painting reveals a subtle tension between depth and minimalism. Through a mastered palette and strong contrasts, the artist creates calm, almost meditative atmospheres. The gaze is guided toward the horizon, between silence, space and contemplation. A painting where light structures the landscape and where shadow becomes language. His current Akoun appraisal, re-evaluated in 2026, is €1350 for a 15P format (65x50 cm). * 2026: Selected to represent Artmajeur at the Vivatech 2026 fair, Paris * 2026: Escale des arts, Archipel, Fouesnant * 2025: Escale des arts, Archipel, Fouesnant * 2024: Hôtel Garrigae Cap Coz, Fouesnant * 2023: Hôtel Garrigae Cap Coz, Fouesnant * 2023: Lapidarium Gallery, Prague * 2022: Festival Les Filets Bleus, Concarneau * 2022: Hôtel Garrigae Cap Coz, Fouesnant * 2021: L’Art Suspendu, Sanary-sur-Mer Next exhibition: see the artist’s website.
