Elegant collectible sculpture depicting a small duckling (or little bird), made in silver with 800 fineness. The piece stands out for its exceptional Italian artisanal workmanship, characterized by the meticulous filigree-like processing of the body in continuous silver wire (the “hair/feather” technique), which gives extraordinary realism and softness to the plumage. The head and beak are retouched by chasing with a beautiful patina of the period. The object regularly bears the legal assay marks on the foot: the 800 fineness and the factory mark 615 FI, attributing the authorship of the work to the prestigious silversmith company Fratelli Lisi & Figli of Florence (active with this mark since 1976).
