This page captures a high-stakes battle from the debut story of Steel Serpent (Davos), who would go on to become Iron Fist’s most enduring and iconic nemesis. Artist & Signature: The page features the masterful work of Filipino legend Rudy Nebres (Inks and Wash) over pencils by Frank McLaughlin. The board is hand-signed by Rudy Nebres in the lower right corner, verifying its authenticity and adding significant value for collectors. Technical Details & Medium: Technique: Professional India ink with the highly coveted grey ink wash technique. Because this was for a black-and-white magazine, Nebres applied painterly grey tones that give the artwork a stunning 3D depth and cinematic atmosphere not found in standard color comics. Series: The Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #10 (Marvel/Curtis Magazines). Year: 1975 (Bronze Age). Size: Standard Marvel production board (approx. 28 x 43 cm). Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Shows minor natural toning and edge wear consistent with a 50-year-old production piece. The artwork remains crisp, and the ink wash is beautifully preserved. Investment Value: Original art featuring a major character's first appearance is considered "Investment Grade." With the continued popularity of the Iron Fist mythos, this museum-quality piece by a fan-favorite master like Nebres is a centerpiece for any serious collection. KEYWORDS & HASHTAGS (#)
