Sheet #11: Goya here again refers to the 1777 history of Spanish bullfighting written by Moratin the Elder. The medieval folk hero El Cid, whose horse is very elaborately worked, kills the bull with a spear. The signature appears on the lower right near the image edge in the shadow of the horse.
