Free Shipping Across Europe The altar of “La Papessa” is a work that pushes the viewer to question the challenges faced by women in overcoming social conventions and to explore the concept of power and patriarchy in gender dynamics. Through its presence in environments, La Papessa becomes a focal point for critical exploration of themes related to equality, women’s emancipation and the redefining of roles in contemporary society. The combination of different blends, pigments and oxides makes this work harmonious with, ideal for any type of environment, modern or classic, like an old colored terracotta. The vulva, symbol of fertility, on the headdress was made in bronze through lost-wax microcasting while the figure is in non-toxic hydro-resin and rice husk recovered from the processing of rice. The work can be easily placed on a wall thanks to the hole on the back or rested on a surface. The sculpture is the result of the synergy of two artists, Francioni and Mastromarino, a couple of art and love who have been working together for about 20 years in their Pietrasanta art studio in Tuscany. The chosen materials minimize pollution, as does the choice of wood shavings as packing filler for shipping. The sculpture is carefully packaged in a very sturdy box and shipped with an express courier. All of our collectors are very satisfied with the sturdiness of our packaging. With our sculptures we are present in private collections in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Portugal, Denmark, Austria, the USA, Switzerland, Romania, the United Kingdom, Poland, Finland and Italy. Don’t miss this opportunity to add this unique piece to your entirely Made in Italy collection. For shipments outside the European Union, the sculpture will be accompanied by a certificate of free export for contemporary artworks, which will be stamped and validated by the export office of the Superintendency of Fine Arts of Florence, part of the Ministry of Culture. Regarding shipments to Germany, we are registered with the German LUCID registry to ensure the proper disposal of packaging. We commit to complying with environmental regulations and contributing to the reduction of environmental impact. Whether the sculpture is shipped outside the European Union or to Germany, we ensure to provide all the necessary documents and to comply with the required procedures to guarantee a safe and legal delivery.
