Francesco Scavullo (1921–2004) - Claudia Schiffer

A remarkable portrait of Claudia Schiffer by Francesco Scavullo, one of the great American photographers of fashion and portraiture in the 20th century. Scavullo photographed the leading figures of fashion, beauty, and American popular culture. His work with Claudia Schiffer belongs to the early years of the German supermodel's international rise. The present copy is a genuine vintage press print. The credit “Photo by Francesco Scavullo” is integrated into the print, while the reverse retains the original professional indications: “Schiffer Claudia (model)”, the date “Feb 25, 1992” and a Historic Images label bearing the reference PIP 05193. Silver gelatin print on photographic paper. Sheet: 20.4 × 25.8 cm. Image: 18 × 23 cm. Very good overall condition.
