I am selling a set of 19 silver tokens from notaries of the Langres district, with a total weight of 303.33 grams. Each token bears on the edge the punch with the horn of plenty accompanied by the inscription « ARGENT ». One face features an open book surrounded by laurel, topped by the motto « LEGES ET MORES ». The other bears the inscription « NOTAIRES DE L’ARRONDISSEMENT DE LANGRES », within a vegetal crown. Beautiful set showing varied patinas, from argent-silver gray to golden and iridescent tints on some pieces. Reliefs and inscriptions clearly visible. Presence of handling marks, small blemishes and wear that varies by token: please consult the photographs to assess their condition.
