Lot of Napoleon memorabilia consisting of 6 pieces: 2 porcelain figurines produced at the beginning of the 19th century by the Capodimonte Manufacture (Naples, Italy) representing Emperor Napoleon I and a drum of the Imperial Army, and 4 plates from the series entitled “Captivity of Napoleon at Saint Helena” produced in 1850 by the Lebeuf, Millet & Cie pottery at Creil-et-Montereau (France) under the Second Empire. The figurines represent: - The Emperor Napoleon I; height: 19.3 cm - A drum of the Imperial Army; height: 18.8 cm These figurines are all in perfect condition. The 4 earthenware (or opaque porcelain) plates are illustrated in their center with scenes of the captivity of Emperor Napoleon I at Saint Helena, and bear the following captions: - Apotheosis of Napoleon - Napoleon drawing a furrow with a plow - View of Napoleon’s residence at Saint Helena - Landing of Napoleon at Saint Helena Each of these 4 plates measures 21.2 cm in diameter. They are all in perfect condition, as shown by the photos, with the exception of the plate titled “View of Napoleon’s residence at Saint Helena,” which has a tiny flaw on the back, shown in the photos.
