Freemasonry — Internal Rites of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite — Around 1961 Lusseau (Georges). Rites of the Officers of the R∴L∴ “The Masonic Spirit,” No. 713, In the East of Paris. [Paris, after July 1961]. Set of five stapled typescripts, with handmade color paper covers, gathered in a pink cardboard folder: Worshipful Master, Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Expert, and Master of Ceremonies. Working rituals in the First Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, detailing words, gestures, movements, opening and closing of works, renewal of oaths and the chain of union. The Master of Ceremonies’ booklet, paginated up to 7, includes an explanatory drawing related to handling the ebony staff. Text composed by Georges Lusseau, Expert of the lodge “The Masonic Spirit,” after the ritual of “La Réelle Fraternité,” No. 619, In the East of Besançon, observed during a meeting with Fernand Chapuis, 33°, on July 20, 1961. Also referenced the Practical Ritual by Raymond Danier. Rare internally distributed collection, used in the lodge, with underlinings, annotations and passages masked with green ink. Condition: worn and torn covers with small losses; labels worn; staples slightly oxidized; interior reasonable.
